Who are Encore! Fayette Partners?
FACTOR and Clayton State University, Department of Continuing Education have multiple partners in the organization and development of this program. The program components will be presented by a representative cross section of government, civic, corporate and nonprofit organization officials and staff members. A significant portion of the cost of organizing, developing and implementing this program has been accomplished through the voluntary efforts of over twenty public and private agencies’/organizations’ personnel and interested citizens.

Planning Committee
For eighteen months hundreds of hours of their time had been spent in preparing ENCORE’s inaugural program that ran January 15, 2009 through March 26, 2009. Teams worked on the weekly agendas, structuring the program’s content to meet the Fayette community’s needs. These individuals have recognized the potential of this type of program based upon their own experiences and the programming needs of the organizations and agencies they serve.

Advisory Council
The Planning Committee’s efforts have been further refined through the formation of a Community Advisory Council composed of over a dozen highly recognized community leaders who collectively bring their extensive background and experience to the table in reviewing Encore’s program plans and making specific recommendations that have helped improve its effectiveness.
